Trip to MI and PA

Attending Penguicon convention (for open source software and science fiction), outside of Detroit.

Visiting Ezra and Audie on the way back home.

And, of course, stopping at Meyer Dairy for some black raspberry.

Fred...they didn't have any lemon custard. (It was on the menu, but they were out.)

I'm glad you got the black raspberry. It might be my new favorite. And the lemon custard just seemed like glorified vanilla the last two times I got it. Very good, mind you, but not very lemony.

What are you guys eating? Is that a plate full of meat?

Nerds.

if you're gonna go out for ice cream, you pretty much have to get black raspberry, unless they have some crazy flavor like asparagus - like at Flayvors in Hadley.

Brazilian beef made on the grill. We waited in line for 3 1/2 hours for it, so it seemed like it was worth a photo.
