Sugar Hill and Littleton, on the other side of the White Mountains

Littleton movie theater where Bette Davis (who had a cottage in Sugar Hill) had the world premiere of The Great Lie in 1941.

Except for Longfellow's poem, we've been there, done that. We stayed at Thayer's Inn and saw "Pollyanna's room." Went to that candy store too. Bought our toaster at the little kitchen shop. Love that town!!
